I will be joining the Fieldfisher’s Industrial Disease team fundraiser for Mesothelioma UK. Fieldfisher have supported Meso UK from the very beginning and I look forward to meeting some of the team. They will also be supporting HASAG, a charity dedicated to helping people suffering from asbestos-related diseases and their families. HASAG and Meso UK work together as a team and have a great long standing relationship.

I have worked within the asbestos removal industry for 5 years and sadly lost a dear friend to Mesothelioma – The legend Mavis Nye. As a proud Ambassador of Meso UK I felt it right to take part in this fearful challenge to raise as much awareness and funding as possible to go towards the great work this amazing charity provides.

Mesothelioma UK is the national charity for anyone affected by mesothelioma, a preventable cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. They exist to support people with mesothelioma to live better and live longer and to prevent mesothelioma happening to future generations. They do this by advocating for better treatment and care, enhancing quality of life, supporting research and amplifying the patient’s voice.
