Kirsty’s 21 mile swim in 7 days for Mesothelioma UK, Money raised £1,233

I completed my challenge of 21 miles swim in 7 days. I got to my gym at 6am daily, even when it was freezing which was not easy. I would like to thank my Mam, Pappa and Daughter, Avanta Waste, James Johnson, Robin Bennet, Michael Eames, Stephen Moseley, Mick Bennett, Tony Rich, Chloe Cross, Tom Heath, Sammy Majewicz, Prav Mengar, John Massey, Germaine Thurgood, Robin Kanjilal, Kevin Green, Mark Elwell & The Labour Desk. You all believed in me and for that I am grateful so thankyou all you have helped support Meso UK to continue doing their vital work. I am proud to be an ambassador of this well respected charity and will continue to do more to raise awareness and support.

I reached my target of £1k with a little help of my own. Doing something I love whilst supporting a great charity was a pleasure, 345 lengths daily was not as hard as I thought it would be, I listened to a great book from Roxie Nafousi called Manifest and books by Dr Joe Dispenza – I highly recommend. I listened to 90s trance music which took me back to my youth pure nostalgia. And I made a friend, an incredible lady Nicky who inspires me with how fast she swims, an absolute powerhouse. I miss the friend I lost due to Mesothelioma, Mavis Nye who also was an incredible lady that inspired me greatly, this fundraiser I dedicate to her.

Lastly, thanks to everyone who likes my posts, I don’t ever worry about how many likes as it’s not what matters, what matters is that I am doing something out the kindness of my heart and for that I am proud of myself.

Thanks for reading.

Kirsty
